Phillip A. McFillin

Mr. McFillin has maintained his own legal and consulting practice since 1998 and has an Of Counsel affiliation with the firm since 2007. He maintains a diverse practice with extensive experience with corporate, transactional, financial, real estate and litigation matters. He has represented a diverse group of clients in a range of legal and business matters from complex multidistrict litigation to venture capital transactions, and other private investment funds in seed, early stage and later stage startup companies.

Mr. McFillin has served for more than a decade as general counsel for private and public companies in a variety of industries. Recent representative clients include a public acquisitions company focused on digital media and content technologies, with the recent launch of a unique platform using the blockchain technology to offer creative solutions for complex artistic and technological NFT concepts; a public telecommunications infrastructure company; a multinational toy manufacturer with locations in the United States and Asia; a logistics, staffing and recruiting firm, and a real estate developer/private lender.

Mr. McFillin has jury trial experience in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in connection with a variety of civil claims and has managed and overseen multidistrict litigation for his clients in a general counsel capacity. He is known for distilling a complex case to its most essential elements, which enables his clients to identify the best possible outcomes from both legal and business perspectives.
